A little Habitat for Humanity is good for the soul

March 7

While it may be good for the soul, my muscles are feeling a little different about the subject after helping out the other day. Actually, they’re not really that bad, but let’s face it, it’s not the same as sitting at this computer all day. :-)

The foundation hadn’t been laid yet – not even the plumbing – so we built walls all day and piled them up for use later.

I was surprised at what a strong turnout there was for the event, which was great, so I’ll be back next Friday to see how far along the foundation has come.
